0served is an independent research publication focused on markets, businesses, technology, economics, and the incentives that shape them. We investigate narratives, follow capital flows, examine institutions, and publish long-form research.

The name is a provocation. Most of what moves markets and shapes industries goes unobserved — not because it is hidden, but because the dominant narratives leave no room for it. Consensus hardens fast. Received wisdom crowds out inconvenient data. The job of this publication is to look at what is actually there.

We publish three types of work:

Research Reports — detailed, sourced investigations into a market, institution, or structural dynamic. These take time. We do not rush them.

Essays — analytical pieces on a thesis, a trend, or an idea that deserves more rigorous treatment than it typically receives.

Field Notes — shorter observations from primary research, conversations, and on-the-ground investigation. These are working notes, not finished conclusions.

0served has no advertisers, no sponsors, and no institutional affiliations. We are not a financial advisory service and nothing published here constitutes investment advice.

We follow the capital, read the filings, talk to the people involved, and try to understand the incentive structures before forming a view. We publish our reasoning, not just our conclusions, so readers can assess the argument on its own terms.

When we are wrong, we say so.
